Manufacturers established outside the European Union must appoint a German Authorised Representative to complete WEEE registration and fulfil their legal obligations under the ElektroG.
Amazon, eBay, Kaufland, Temu, TikTok Shop, and other online marketplaces require a valid German WEEE registration number before electrical products can be sold.
